I have moved wlair.us.to from Meskarune’s personal VPS (maharani.meskarune.com) to the Hacker Haven server (tesseract.hackerhaven.net). Beware that in some cases, it may take 24–48 hours for the new DNS record to propagate.
I discovered this in OpenBSD. There, by default, at the beginning of an X session, it asks for the SSH key passphrase if there is a key. It does this with x11-ssh-askpass. I installed it on both of my boxes (the SlackBuild of x11-ssh-askpass intended for Slackware 12.1 still works as of Slackware 14.0), and borrowed this from OpenBSD’s default ~/.xinitrc:
A while ago, I installed Slackware on my old box. At one point, I accidentally switched to -current because I chose the slackpkg mirror too carelessly.
A few days ago, I installed Arch on what was formerly my Gentoo box. I noticed that a terrible bug in nouveau was still present under Arch, therefore I shamefully switched to the proprietary NVIDIA driver. I am considering uninstalling X on my old box to use a framebuffer.
